Corruption

Corruption free words
Corruption is not a term related to a single country. The whole world is infected by the corruption. India is no exception to it. Even India is very special in terms of corruption because it has crossed the critical stage. Our ministers, who are so called “leaders” riding our country on the wheels of corruption.
Corruption is violation of rules by improper, unethical or illegal means. Millions of billions of Indian currency is deposited into the foreign banks but still India is poor country. Corruption is so rooted in India that you cannot get your work done without giving bribe. Corruption is not just limited to administration. It is very much prevalent even in legislation and judiciary so much so that it is probably the biggest challenge and needs to be eradicated from its grass root. The problem with this country is that there is no proper system for a common man to get out of being involved in making the country corrupted. Let me make it clear. If one doesn’t want to pay the bribe, he has two options: Either he should complain the police or keep quiet. The first option certainly fails as the police are also involved in corruption. One has to pay the bribe, whether he is willing to or not, to het his work done. We have left no option for common man.
There is no “corruption free” mechanism working in India yet. Yes, we may be having “anti corruption bureaus”, but yet they could not make a big difference. There has to be some medium for a common to fight against corruption, to fight for his right without paying bribe. If an organization or website or corporate ready to take the common man’s side, even charging some amount for it also, it works great. Most of the people are not willing to give bribe but giving against their will.
India is poor country and it will be poor unless corruption is rooted out of it. This is the time to act because if not now, then it will be too late.

Aliens exist?

Search continues..
One of the exciting and mystical topics on earth is “life on other planets”. Do we really have life elsewhere than earth? We still have no answer for it. But many of the scientists and astronomers believe the possibility of life away from home planet.
The NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) is searching our solar system for the existence of life constantly. The question started excitement among the people may be because of the movies. There are so many movies built and being built around the world using the aliens as prime theme for them. Aliens are the creatures from other planets than the earth. The rumors about the alien spaceship foot marks on the earth add fuel to the fire. But none of these rumors could prove truth among them. These are facts that made the world think about the existence of life in space.
There are few parameters to be considered before making any planet suspicious for life on it. The basic parameter on which basis life may exist is water. Earth, filled 80% of it with water, is the best example for how water so important for life. So far we could find two planets with very good quantity of water. One of them is Europa. It is covered with subsurface ocean below icy crust. Scientists are keen on it to search life on this planet.
If searching life in space is one issue, there are also scientists who warn that we are possibly inviting danger to the earth by sending signals into space for life. If there is complex life exists in space and if they find our signal from earth, it leads to the question of existence of the earth.
As nobody is so sure about the life in space, until we find an answer to it, the issue will be as exciting as it now to our next generations.

Goal

Don’t hold a lock, hold a key.
What is a goal?  Goal is not a just a word to have for a life time. It is a life time spirit which makes you strive for it. Nobody turns to be a super star by chance. Behind every success story there is a goal set already years ago. If Sachin Tendulakar could become the god of cricket, it is because he dreamed of it. One should definitely have a goal because if you don’t know where you are going, you would probably end up somewhere. A man with no dream lives his life with no objective.
After having a goal the deciding factor is that how meaningful one is working towards it. Reaching your goal is always not so easy. Billions of people are setting goals for their lives but only millions could able to make their way to it. The reason behind every success or failure is the approach. Many of the people never set achievable goals. If people set achievable goals then the reason still why they fail is they never try to achieve them.
So there should be a systematic approach to achieve a goal. The first thing before setting any goal is, analyze it. An engineering student dreaming of being part a surgery is certainly impossible. The prime factor is your “goal” itself. The next step is set your work plan. You cannot just start working towards it without plan. Working without a plan is sailing without a compass in sea. You will reach nowhere or somewhere undesired. So plan your strategy. Now is the time for action.  Once the goal and plan are set it’s the work and only work make you to achieve your goal. Analyzing regularly where you are, how you are doing makes a reflection on your work. It enhances your plan.
Having keys of a lock is not just sufficient, the keys should be correct to unlock it. Bill Gates and jack Welch were not just lucky to make the history. It’s their plan, strategy and dedication made them invincible.

Creativity vs. Curriculum

In today’s world the creativity of humans is declined at every stage as they are growing up. The world is getting less and less creative on an average and the worst factor is that this decline in creativity with curriculum in considered normal in most of the countries around the globe. But the fact is that this is not natural. Brain’s creativity doesn’t decrease with time; it’s our curriculum and teaching methods we follow making it to decline.
There was a survey which gave results that kids have creativity of 90-95%, primary school children have 70-75%, secondary school students have 40-50% and graduates from universities and colleges have creativity of just 20-25%. These facts are horrible. According to Times magazine a child is born with zero brain. Yes it is true. We are just born with potential. When we born our brain will have numerous cells disengaged with each other. As the child grows up his brain cells join according to his creativity and intelligence he gains from lessons being taught in schools and home.
So a teacher is solely responsible for the creativity and intelligence of every child. Since 150 years our conventional teaching methods have been teaching the students the contents of the curriculum. Instead if teachers teach them to learn how to learn things it is very much effective. So teachers should work on different methods to make the children grow their creativity and intelligence at each stage of their learning.

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy

All work and no play make Jack a dull boy
“All work and no play make jack dull boy” is a proverb that tells that mere education doesn’t imply everything for a student, apart from books he should have games and other activities part of their education.
Why do we have school life for so many years? This is because education is what places one in society. Society tells us that education shows the people surrounding how one should be treated by their actions, which can be created by the amount of education that person has. But academic learning is increasingly replacing play and experiential hands-on education. Education is now seen as a race, and the earlier you start, the sooner and the better you finish; yet there is no evidence that this push for early academics produces any lasting advantage for children. No doubt the importance of education cannot be stressed enough, but it is the same with the importance of fun!
The primary aspect of any student is to get into a reputed college or university, which decides his career and life indeed sometimes. But the colleges are looking not just into the brains now. They are looking into the “all round performance” of an individual. So every individual apart from being glued to books, it’s better to focus on their interests and passions.
What this society needs is a balance of education and fun. Although the need for an education is clearly stressed in today's society, people have inadvertently forgotten that play is also just as important. Just as education is a solid foundation for what a person becomes, so is knowing how to have a good time. Character is primarily defined with two things, education and personality. If one doesn't have a cheerful personality, developed by activities of fun, then their potential in character is drastically reduced.

India – A rainbow nation

India – A rainbow nation
India in all ways justifies the phrase “Rainbow country”. If you see America you can say it is a Christian country, if you see Pakistan it is a Muslim country but no one can define India with a single religion or language or culture.
India is known for its diversity of cultures. It is a collection of communities. No city of India is of only Hindus or Muslims or Christians. It is composition of all these. There are wide ranges of cultures people follow in India.  There are more than 50 languages recognized by govt. of India that is nowhere happened in rest of the world. Every state of India has its own official language and follows its specific culture. For example, in our Andhra Pradesh we people speak Telugu and it’s our official language.
India has given all the freedom to every religion. You may be from any religion or state you have got every right to follow your religion rules. India was ruled by different kings from different countries until its freedom. During this time people from different parts of the world migrated to India and settled here. This made India a country of different people and different cultures. But no matter whatever the culture we follow, whatever the language we speak ultimately we are Indians.
These all the reasons made India a rainbow country.
