Creativity vs. Curriculum

In today’s world the creativity of humans is declined at every stage as they are growing up. The world is getting less and less creative on an average and the worst factor is that this decline in creativity with curriculum in considered normal in most of the countries around the globe. But the fact is that this is not natural. Brain’s creativity doesn’t decrease with time; it’s our curriculum and teaching methods we follow making it to decline.
There was a survey which gave results that kids have creativity of 90-95%, primary school children have 70-75%, secondary school students have 40-50% and graduates from universities and colleges have creativity of just 20-25%. These facts are horrible. According to Times magazine a child is born with zero brain. Yes it is true. We are just born with potential. When we born our brain will have numerous cells disengaged with each other. As the child grows up his brain cells join according to his creativity and intelligence he gains from lessons being taught in schools and home.
So a teacher is solely responsible for the creativity and intelligence of every child. Since 150 years our conventional teaching methods have been teaching the students the contents of the curriculum. Instead if teachers teach them to learn how to learn things it is very much effective. So teachers should work on different methods to make the children grow their creativity and intelligence at each stage of their learning.
